Team Update Feb - 10
Hi Everyone,
A big well done to the boys who played this week on a cold, damp and muddy day. For those of you who were not able to make it the U 7's lost 2-1 to Ponte Sports & Social and the U 6's did a fantastic job drawing 1-1 with a team of massive opponents some of whom were 7+ ( cos we haven't got enough 6's!). It was great to see some of our tiny 5yr olds get stuck into the 'giants'...........WELL DONE!
Thanks to Julie and Milly for running the tuck shop which raised £18.
We all owe a big thankyou to Stan (Sam's dad) who got our teams £200 towards training gear from his boss at Abel & Cole Ltd. I am hoping to spend some of it this week on a pitchside barrier to keep the excited spectators at bay and I need to know from Colin and Scott what else we need.
