ACKWORTH Juniors FC Under 9’s Reds bagged a unique weekend double with triumphs on both sand and grass.

The team, who play in the Barnsley and District JFL, were winners at the East Coast Soccer Beach tournament held at Bridlington, then the following day retained the Supplementary Cup Group A trophy with victory in the final at Athersley Recreation FC.
