Delighted to announce that over £1,000 has been raised by the club Fun Run at Carr Bridge which will help the great work of Cardiac Risk in the Young and MND Association.
The sponsorship money continues to roll in and we hope to have a final total over the weekend, it’s not too late if anyone wishes to donate to the efforts of so many who took part.
Special thanks to the countless volunteers, marshalls and those behind the scenes (setting-up, registration and clearing-up) as well as the organisers Luke Devine and Jimmy Lloyd for staging such a successful event.
A raffle, tuck shop and penalty shoot-out were other attractions which made it a winning morning on Carr Bridge.
Thanks to all the competitors for taking part and raising such a brilliant total – you should be very proud of your efforts and for those who came down to support and cheer everyone along the way, as well as our friends to whom these two charities are very close and came to remember.
Great memories and a fantastic amount raised so far.
